Proposed merge with SPURS (band)
[edit]Spurs does not appear to yet meet our notability requirements for bands. They have yet to release an album, and even the track on the Sandy fundraiser was not credit to this band. Nat Gertler (talk) 19:47, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
The album is fourth coming, and there is likely to be a lot of referenced information that will be coming up soon. These are very seperate projects, and by combining that page with this one, it refers to them as being the same, whereas they are not. Adam Arcuragi solo project is very different from SPURS, as this band has members David Hartley, Fabian Simon, and Nicole Childrey.
Further, once they are combined, is there even a way to separate them down the line?
Disagree. They should stay separate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.240.172.188 (talk) 22:59, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
- It is common for bands with a notable lead but not yet notable on their own to be covered on that lead's page, as one of their projects. If we do merge, yes, it's quite possible to move material back over to the bands' page, as that page remains in place as a redirect. If we do not merge, it seems quite probable that the band's page will simply be deleted. --Nat Gertler (talk) 23:50, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
