Disputable Point - village demolition

As one who lifted (from the page on Acton Reynald Hall) the statement that the then village was demolished in the 1840s to facilitate the creation of parkland, I have since read in Michael Raven's A Guide to Shropshire (2005) that he states that the village, which had 35 farms and houses on the Corbet land in 1780, had none by 1810. Some clarification welcome. Unfortunately the author (with whom I have corresponded over another village) is now not alive to corroborate but I hesitate to remove the sentence whose source was not stated in the page on the Hall.Cloptonson (talk) 15:47, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
