active sitting is not appropriate for long term, because it provokes muscular reflexes which distracts from work and undiserably affects muscles in long term. active sitting is very appropriate as a training tool.

The state of the article, December 2016
[edit]This article is written as an essay advocating for active sitting. It is way too detailed as it makes its case. Though it is sourced, there are few inline citations, leading me to suppose there could be a great deal of original research and WP:synthesis here. Finally, a lot of it is stated in terms of the current state of the field, but it was written five years ago or more, which means it is outdated anyway, unless this has been a dormant field of research during the years since then.
