rape lyrics

[edit]

who censored my post on the controversy? It's all over the news.... Just because you are him or are a fan doesn't mean you can ignore rape lyrics... stuff like this bias is why people turn away from wikipedia. read the lyrics to his songs yo... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.203.27.196 (talk) 11:10, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled

11th of april: I really don't think, that there's any Jewish in him. I've heard him mention his mother's name, and I'm almost certain that she's also Albanian, just like his father. The link which says his father is Albanian and his mother is Jewish, has it's info from Wikipedia, therefore it can never be used as proof.

At least he claims his mother is Jewish on the album with Statik Selektah. Nonotever (talk) 19:28, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Gourmet Fire-Flame Chef?

[edit]

Does anyone know what a gourmet fire-flame chef is? I have tried searching for this and only found links back to A.B. Nonotever (talk) 19:30, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Till this day nobody was able to answer that simple question. I have never heard that term, and google doesn't seem to know it either. So i removed it. --95.88.101.8 (talk) 03:07, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
i think the article just meant gourmet chef, i really dont think it meant more than that, (gourmet chef is a cook who uses complex skills to prepare food for customers.) and that fire flamed is just kind a word filler... — Preceding unsigned comment added by DanielTheDon (talkcontribs) 20:17, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Television

[edit]

I added three sentences about Action Bronson being the host of the cable television show F*ck That's Delicious and it was immediately reverted as being "not constructive." I'm confused. User:kfrancese (talk) May 17, 2016 —Preceding undated comment added 17:36, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Arian Asllani not Ariyan Arslani

[edit]

People claim that Actions Bronson's name is spelled Ariyan Arslani not Arian Asllani, i found many articles and sources that prove otherwise, you might think just because he said that his name was the former, doesn't entirely mean its true, you may be asking "how are you going to deny what a person said about himself", long story short some people alter their characters meaning they might add or remove extra pounds form their weight or might lie about their age, same thing with names, people might spell it a little different for social media but its not their real name (government name). I have no way to prove at the moment with government records that action Bronson's name is the latter, but only third party or independent articles such as Complex Magazines or the Rachel Ray Show website, both of which i dont think would lie about his name, having no connection or bias towards action. DANIELTHEDON (talk) 21:54, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What has been explained to you again and again, is that sources may be wrong, especially given your sources are much older than his own Twitter post, which suggests that the two are not isolated phenomena but that it is a correction. Your opinion on what is true is just your opinion, which this encyclopedia does not report on. Likewise, it is just your opinion that Rachel Ray would not lie about his name. Also, it is your grave misunderstanding that anyone is accusing anyone of "lying" -- being wrong is not necessarily lying, just wrong. Also what does anything have to do with people's weight? Per WP:BLPPRIMARY and WP:BLPSELFPUB the Twitter link from the subject of the BLP himself is enough of a source to go on for the proper spelling of his name. Also, your previous statements that Wikipedia is the only place with the Arslani spelling, not the Asllani is wrong on its face, as good sources such as Washington Post, Discogs, Billboard, Getty Images, All Music, NY Post, Mashed, and others all use the Arslani spelling. Lastly, of interest to you, may be the discussion at Talk:Randy Quaid#RFC: Full name of Randy Quaid. Any other insertion of your opinion on the article, no matter how well-intentioned, is being knowingly disruptive. Thank you for using the talk page instead. JesseRafe (talk) 22:36, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Jesse, thanks for responding, his own imprint Vice, had spelled his name Asllani. Vice is a company that had worked with him closely, both releasing his music, as well as launching his own tv show, i think Billboard was a solid source, but the rest are either food websites, online stores, tabloid magazines or political newspapers, none of which have met Bronson and interviewed him personally nor music websites. The reference i made with the weight meant that people change details or omit them to have people view them in a certain way or something like that. Also the date in which the article was written doesn't really matter, time didnt change his name nor people changed his name, i think that the sources that i have provided are much safer "fallbacks". — Preceding unsigned comment added by DanielTheDon (talkcontribs) 20:06, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You're still not addressing the issue at hand and only reiterating your opinion. Wikipedia has a collection of policies on how to deal with these matters, and you've ignored every instance of their mention. Please look situation up, ample links have been provided to you. His own word still stands as the preeminent source. JesseRafe (talk) 20:49, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why under Occupation(s) are some occupations capitalized and some aren't?

[edit]

Is this a sloppy oversight or is it done on purpose? I've checked Eminem and there only the first occupation is capitalized. Do you think we should change it? September 23rd 2020: I've changed it because it looked sloppy.

talk show appearances??

[edit]

are we really just listing talk show appearances to fluff up filmography sections now??

thats ridiculous and seems pretty unorthodox, even for wikipedia.

i tried to find another celebrity, artist, or actor that was given this same treatment, but was unable to.

talk shows make up 9 of the 18 appearances listed in the television section of his filmography, and then there are only three films listed..

the "television and film" section does a fine job of covering what he has done all by itself, making this goofy filmography full of talk show appearances redundant. 72.135.51.190 (talk) 13:38, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
