Julie Mayer?

[edit]

I think that Julie should have her own page back.. she was a major character from S1-S4, and will be returning as a regular in S6! Hence, a main character with such a long history on the show should have her own page. Understandably, characters like Betty Applewhite and Paul Young, who only appeared for one or two seasons, should be moved to the Characters page, but if Julie should not get her own page, then it will escalate until we say, I dunno, Edie, who is no longer a part of the show, should not have her own page? I don't think so.. give her her own page or I will (unless there is a valid argument as to why we shouldn't!

Jake Stein

[edit]

Is Jake Stein a new Starring character or a also starring character?

Why?

[edit]

This page seems a little indulgent, honestly. Is a list of this fictional character's acquaintances so important to the world at large as to warrant its own encyclopedia entry? Perhaps this would be better placed on the Desperate Housewives Wiki. Thirtysilver (talk) 08:29, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Should Robin be moved?

[edit]

Does anyone agree that it would make more sense for Robin to be included in the List of Desperate Housewives characters under the Acquaintances of Katherine Mayfair section? True, Robin was introduced to the series through Susan but her main association is with Katherine at this point. Orson was introduced into the series through Susan as well, but we wouldn't categorize him as Susan's acquaintance, we would say he is Bree's. I think the same general concept applies for Robin. Polish version .

[edit]

Polish version of "Acquaintances of Susan Mayer" is way better than that. I'm sorry but that is true. Michu1945 (talk) 15:05, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can't judge it based on its content since I don't speak the language, but it looks all to overdetailed and plot-oriented. I am trying to make this article concise and bring in out-of-universe material, and I do not think the Polish version of this article will help. Akcvtt (talk) 23:58, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ovedetailed don't mean "worse". It is overdetailed because many Poles wondering about what happened with particular character in particular season or episode. Later we discuss about that on polish sites, like biggest polish forum about "desperate housewives"]. Michu1945 (talk) 10:10, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's not necessarily worse, but detailed character biographies, especially for recurring and small roles, are better suited for fan sites and is not what Wikipedia aims to do. Akcvtt (talk) 10:30, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Move/Rename to "Delfino family"

[edit]

I propose to move this page into a Delfino family one. The current page consists of family members and acquaintances of Susan and Mike, both of them Delfinos, so it is appropiate (even with Julie and Karl in this page, since they are immediate family of Susan). This would match other pages under Category:Fictional families. Thoughts? --LoЯd ۞pεth 07:24, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
