Self-checkout lines

I am not sure, but I could have sworn that self-checkout lines were around before 2004. Anyone else? Amcfreely 06:40, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Way before 2004. It was at least before 2001. NYGiantsNYMets91 04:45, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Foodtown had self checkout lanes in Ocean County NJ way back in 1994, 10 years before this page claims that Acme was the first to have it. Cloksin (talk) 21:15, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Acme Fresh Markets

You need to create a separate page for Acme Fresh Markets because it is owned by a different company. --Micheal21 00:43, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

You need a new one. It is not an Albertsons company anymore. It is now owned by Supervalu. Here is a link: media center--Micheal21 03:54, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Acme

Acme is now a division of Supervalu. Please don't remove it. Thanks.--Micheal21 18:30, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

You should keep the Acme logo because Acme Markets is technically still an Albertson's company, but Albertson's is now a Supervalu company.

Acme is no longer an Albertsons company. It is now a division of Supervalu. --Micheal21 22:35, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

acme is still owned by albertsons.. it goes like this: albertsons took over: Acme,Jewl, shaws..

and then supervalu took over the whole brand.. so supervalu owns albertsons and albertsons owns acme so thats how supervalu owns acme

CHANGE IT BACK NOW

Whoever changed this page from "Acme Markets" to "Acme Market" needs to change it back IMMEDIATELY.

Um, it's changed back. There's no need to threaten or yell at anyone. -GTBacchus(talk) 05:53, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Stop reverting my edits! I know what I'm talking about!

Whoever keeps changing the top of the article to saying Acme is just a division of Supervalu and not Albertsons which is a division of Supervalu needs to stop. ALBERTSONS STILL OWNS ACME. Supervalu took over Albertsons and Acme with it.

If you look at the Albertsons website you would notice Acme is not listed on there. When Supervalu bought Albertsons all the divisions became part of Supervalu Inc. How do I know? I work for Albertsons.--Micheal21 01:42, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Small edit
