Nothing has been written about the poisonous qualities of akee. To have a comprehensive listing for this Jamaican fruit, I'd suggest adding this information. There is only a small portion of the ackee fit for human consumption and if eaten too unripe or too ripe, it's produces what can be a lethal bout of stomach sickness and vomiting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.239.182.197 (talk) 19:31, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
