Declined role

[edit]

Jim Carrey Declining Role - could someone please show me how reference 6 mentions Jim Carrey declining the role of Ace Ventura. D-Hell-pers 01:51, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the proposal was move to Ace Ventura 3. JPG-GR (talk) 06:22, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should move this page to Ace Ventura 3. Since all the references point to that name being the official name, we should move it. If the title changes to Ace Ventura Jr. then we can simply move it back, but for now, we should stick to Ace Ventura 3.--EclipseSSD (talk) 14:23, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Billy Bob pants

[edit]

We need to mention how he is wearing Billy Bob from The Rock-afire Explosion pants. Ryan Holloway (talk) 23:56, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Having seen "Billy Bob," I can see how you could get "Billy Bob" from one of the movie posters (orange striped shorts, bear slippers). However, for a good portion of the movie itself, "Ace Jr." wears pants similar to those worn by Jim Carrey in the first and second movies. Harveytwoface999 (talk) 02:11, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is Melissa from the first movie the same character in the third movie?

[edit]

I notice that both the mother in the third movie and Ventura's love interest in the first has the same name. Seeing that the third movie is for kids, I wouldn't be shocked if the writers had Ace Ventura marry his love interest in the original film.

Furthermore, the the third film states that Melissa Ventura became a zoo keeper so that her son can view animals safely. So it could be theorized that the character from the first film eventually became a zoo keeper later after the events of the 2nd film or possibly after the original Ace disappeared at sea.

I wonder if there would be any sources that would state that the two Melissas are the same char. --Doomzaber (talk) 07:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The character in the first movie was Melissa Robinson, and in this movie is Melissa Robinson Ventura. I think it's safe to say she's meant to be the same character. Rob T Firefly (talk) 22:21, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
