Is it? The whole page seems nothing but an advertisement for the three programs at the three Universities who offer a degree in this field. Plus, all the lead says is that it's the scholarly study of what's mentioned in the main Western Esotericism article. It pretty obvious that people study this stuff, why do we need a whole article saying that. In addition to the previous comment above, I would suggest that if this really is a field of academic study, that the article should then be renamed "Western esotericism studies". The current distinction between "Western esotericism" and "Western Esotericism" is probably way to subtle for anybody but the person who came up with this... :-) --Guillaume2303 (talk) 03:45, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
