Gecko's tails

[edit]

Could this term also be applied to animals that loose body parts to escape a predator? If not, what is the term for that, and how is it distinct from abscission? -Craig Pemberton (talk) 05:21, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so. Abscission is quite clearly defined in the literature as having an abscission layer, in which a key component is the cell wall Mordekai wiki (talk) 16:38, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Using a reference twice

[edit]

In Section 3 and Section 4, the reference is the same, identical. But there are two reference numbers, 3 and 4. How could I simply change the 'reference 4' into 'reference 3'? (Dumarest (talk) 12:30, 26 October 2012 (UTC)).[reply]
