Gecko's tails
[edit]Could this term also be applied to animals that loose body parts to escape a predator? If not, what is the term for that, and how is it distinct from abscission? -Craig Pemberton (talk) 05:21, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think so. Abscission is quite clearly defined in the literature as having an abscission layer, in which a key component is the cell wall Mordekai wiki (talk) 16:38, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
Using a reference twice
[edit]In Section 3 and Section 4, the reference is the same, identical. But there are two reference numbers, 3 and 4. How could I simply change the 'reference 4' into 'reference 3'? (Dumarest (talk) 12:30, 26 October 2012 (UTC)).
