Category: Neologism or quotation

[edit]

Hey! User:Kjell Knudde. I don't want to wheel war this so I'm not going to re-revert your most recent change from Category:1960s neologisms to 1960s quotations. Can you explain your reasoning for this change?

My perspective is, firstly, that this is not a quotation. (If it is, who/what is it a quotation from?) And second, this saying is effectively the same thing as Make love, not war, the (much larger and more well known) article for which is in the neologisms category. The largeness and rich history of that article isn't on its own conclusive evidence of anything, but does speak to a certain degree of consensus around its current contents and categorization. You clearly believe this article does not belong in the same neologisms category as that one, and does belong in quotations. Can you speak more about what these beliefs are based on? Okay, I'm gonna take radio silence as assent, and move this back to the neologisms category. Ford MF (talk) 17:37, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, nm. I'm just seeing that you did move the other article to quotations, which has not been challenged. I'm peaceful with that, so long as these two are consistent. Ford MF (talk) 17:39, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
