Questionable deletions

[edit]

I added several entries to this list. Some were subsequently deleted by my most persistent wikistalker User:Iqinn. The individuals behind the Iqinn ID devoted over 80 percent of their over 20,000 edits to my contributions -- either directly reverting me, or commenting on my contributions. Eventually, that ID was subjected to a series of blocks, of increasing length, for persistent edit-warring. When administrators wouldn't lift that well-deserved block it became clear the individual or individuals behind the Iqinn ID was resorting to sockpuppetry. And the ID earned a second indefinite block, for that.

I am going to use this section, for rough work. I am going to link the list entries I added, that have subsequently been removed -- here. I believe that Iqinn's edit-warring, that triggered the block, followed by the sockpuppetry, should strip Iqinn of the assumption of good faith. Even so, even a stopped clock is correct twice a day. So, if Iqinn removed them, I will probably restore them -- unless the removal was a lucky one, that was supportable, even though its intent was disruptive.

If someone else removed them, but I still think it is a valid entry, I may simply restore it, or ask for other contributors' opinions, depending on how open and shut it seems to me. Geo Swan (talk) 17:19, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • an instance of Iqinn's wikistalking. Clearly being named in a UN security resolution conveys sufficient notability for a disambiguation to be required.
