Plot

[edit]

This is supposed to be a plot summary, not a detailled re-telling, especially considering how little actual plot this movie has. It should be cut by about 80 percent. -- Imladros (talk) 11:42, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

More about the Plot

[edit]

From the last line, it sounds like Castlebury is a fictional sovereign duchy and Edward is a sovereign duke, which explains why Ashton is a prince and "will rule someday". However, if that were the case, shouldn't Jules be aware of the fact that Castlebury is a sovereign country ? Furthermore, the guests at Edward's party don't seem to address him as someone would normally address a sovereign. An alternative, albeit unlikely, would be that both Edward and Ashton are actually princes of a royal family of some country in the line of succession to its respective throne, and Edward, in addition, also holds a peerage at the rank of duke. In that case, however, at least in the UK, Edward would be titled just "HRH The Duke of Castlebury" and his son, "HRH Prince Ashton of Castlebury". The plot simply doesn't make sense ! 161.24.19.112 (talk) 13:14, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
