Literary Criticism
[edit]I couldn't find much literary criticism of A Million Nightingales, and what I could find I don't have access to. There's a chapter in the book Revisiting Slave Narratives, ed. Judith Misrahi-Barak, that is devoted to the novel: "Racial Alliances in a White Neo-Slave Narrative: Susan Straight's A Million Nightingales" by Stephanie Li. If anyone has access to it, maybe it would yield more info about the novels themes, etc.StrawCity (talk) 20:38, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
