Overall: Fascinating story and hook, in keeping with policy. This is good to go. I actually prefer the first hook over ALT1 - it's pithier and inspires the reader click into the article to learn more. Topshelver (talk) 16:12, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- ALT1 is not true as written. It could be rewritten (add surface area qualifier), but the reviewer preferred the other hook, so I just struck it. MANdARAX XAЯAbИAM 16:59, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
Post-promotion comment: the link to the BBC article that confirms the hook fact does not work but this link does. Schwede66 02:47, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
