[edit]This information is taken directly from the U.S. government's U.S. Customs and Border Protection web page. [1]--Esprit15d 14:02, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
I originated this article by copying verbatim from the government's non-copyrighted web site, on the grounds that such information is (a) not as easy to find on that web site as in Wikipedia, and (b) cannot be cross-referenced as easily as between and among articles within the Wikipedia site. By copying verbatim I was able to show the exact government's definitions and uses for carnets.Calbookaddict (talk) 06:13, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Still it shouldn't be here in this format. see WP:NOT#FAQ. I could try to clean it up but it would probably be better to start from scratch as the article is also written from a very American point of view. if its not copyrighted the verbatim copying is alright, but not the whole article Towel401 (talk) 19:22, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
I just rewrote the article with information predominantly taken from the USCIB [2] and the ICC [3] websites. I tried to internationalize it though I fear there is still an emphasis on US-related info. I tried to incorporate all the originally posted information. Please give me some feedback. - 95McCartney (talk) 22:55, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
