"It" would be APOBEC3G which is the cellular factor that inhibits viral replication. Vif is the viral protein, in HIV-1, that counteract APOBEC3G. --Corpshumain (talk) 19:15, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The top picture on the mechanism diagram appears to be pointing the green O to the wrong carbon atom.
