The result of the move request was: moved. -- 2pou (talk) 05:39, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

– No other article in the disambiguation page bears the title "Pushpa", they only contain the word pushpa in within them making them natural disambiguations, not to mention most of them are stubs. More over Pushpa (film) qualifies as WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and we should go for least disambiguation for it Ab207 (talk) 07:42, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I have a feeling the name might have more long-term significance, and the film hasn't been released yet. The film obviously has the most page views, but I'm not sure which way to side on this one.--Ortizesp (talk) 13:13, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • But the word "Pushpa" itself doesn't mean anything in English, there is no article bearing that title. Its a name which merely lists the articles which contain the name Pushpa. It would have made sense when there is no article titled "Pushpa" but now that we have, its prudent to move that page.--Ab207 (talk) 18:37, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support See this article has more significance than all of the other articles and also on the disambiguation page it is just people with Pushpa as their last name. SP013 (talk) 17:46, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Moving the page

[edit]

Ab207 It would be significant enough to move the page from Pushpa to Pushpa: The Rise because it is obviously being made in two parts. SP013 (talk) 22:01, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

SP013 Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, I agree that the page should be moved to Pushpa: The Rise. Second part's page can be created in future. -- Ab207 (talk) 16:37, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy on "Oo Antava" song

[edit]

Please add this information in legal issue section: A men's association has filed a case against the song which was released recently in Tamil and Telugu as "Oo Solriya" and "Oo Antava" for portraying men as 'lustful' throughout its lyrics and visuals. For Providing More Shows And Screen In Rajasthan, Gujrat, Harayana, Punjab , Up , Mp

[edit]

It is very wrong to give less screen to the film in the North inspite of not very good response by Hindi North Public, Makers should provide more screen so that there is good business! Grammar mistake ?

[edit]

Why lead say,' it was commercially successful', "was" word indicating like this film was released way back but it's not true it is still running in Maharashtra's theaters. I suggest to change this line into present tence.Success think (talk) 13:45, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is ok to make, Impact section in this article ? Due to mammoth Hindi version success the Goldmine telefilms decided to release hindi, Ala Vaikunthapuramalu in theater at 26 Jan 2022. Pushpa 2

[edit]

Success think, the film itself is a reliable source for the second part title which is shown at the end. SP013 can also confirm this. -- Ab207 (talk) 10:01, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If the film say so, provide link so anyone can verify, User: SP013 not provided any ref. We need clear ref, so anyone can cross check it. Do not add WP: Original research. Success think (talk) 11:44, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The first part is stylised as, "Pushpa : The Rise Part - 01", use can see on poster, so the possibility is they will keep this style and will write it as, "Pushpa : The Rule - Part 02". I also suggest to change this article's name & write the way it written on Poster. Success think (talk) 11:47, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Success Think The second film’s title was already announced at the end of the first part as Pushpa 2: The Rule I do not understand what the problem here is when it’s clearly in the film itself it does not require a source alongside of it to prove that it is correct. SP013 (talk) 13:02, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Success think, that's clear misinterpretation of original research is. If I contact the movie production team to know ask what the title is, that's OR. But we are using what is already displayed in the film. Here is the citation,[1] which can be added if you insist. On the other hand, trying to predict what the second part title is based on first part should be avoided per WP:CRYSTAL. -- Ab207 (talk) 14:14, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Ab207: I don't have Amazon prime video subscription, so bro I can't cross check it & I think most folks don't have one but let the join 3-4 more editors here, let's here what they say, if mejority voted for your view then anyone can change, like a democratic way. I hope other editors 'll join this discussion. Success think (talk) 14:54, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ab207 (talk · contribs) I tried to add some critical views of reviewer's here but someone erased them. Fans don't want critical things here, which pointing out flaws? Success think (talk) 15:02, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Success think, please see WP:PAYWALL. Both SP013 and I have have access and can confirm this. Also, Wikipedia is not a democracy for a "majority" to agree.
About the reviews, the focus should be on the original Telugu version. Adding 1 or 2 two reviews from the dubbed version "may be" okay to get a perspective but they should be limited. For example, a reviewer criticizing the Hindi dub songs is totally irrelevant to the film. -- Ab207 (talk) 15:25, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Success think There is no majority to be considered when it is clearly evident in this screenshot from the end of the film [1] that the second film’s name is Pushpa 2: The Rule. SP013 (talk) 15:30, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think you can post the screenshot, can you? (Surely, that's not on WP, but I'm not sure if you can link to them from WP.) Isn't that against copyright policies? — DaxServer (talk · contribs) 15:34, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Could be. The link can be removed once our fellow editor is satisfied with it. -- Ab207 (talk) 16:01, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know WP: consensus, read it. WP says it discuss with fellow editors & come on a consensus point. Can you provided a news source for your claim. I'm not sure but I don't think usually add citations from OTT platforms. For me it's over, do what you think right. Success think (talk) 15:34, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Success think The film itself counts as a primary source for the article if you want to check use this under Wikipedia Policies (Wikipedia:Verifiability). Under this it counts as a reliable source since its the work itself. SP013 (talk) 16:02, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I just sayin provide WP: Reliable source. Prime video is a subscription based app. Everyone don't have it's access. But without providing you wanting do change by your research, I know you watched the film on Prime video you know the 2nd film's title but isn't it WP: Original research. Just provide 1 reliable source, otherwise don't do anything. Success think (talk) 15:39, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Success think, as I said, please see WP:PAYWALL, you cannot reject a source just because its not accessible by you. Also, the film is the best-possible reliable source for the second part title, we don't need newspapers to tell that. This is not original research in any way. Anyway, here is a source confirming the same. Ironically, you who have not provided any reliable source to support your claim. -- Ab207 (talk) 15:59, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, you can edit now, if you think this source is reliable. Success think (talk) 16:10, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Screenplay

[edit]

But is there any downside, if u mentioned the screenplay writer name. Ref sayin that he's one. Success think (talk) 12:37, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Success think, I'm aware that but writer includes both story and screenplay, need not mention separately. You should probably bring content-related stuff at the article talk, so that other editors can also take a look. -- Ab207 (talk) 13:22, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You know screenplay also very important aspect of film making and we have to mention it. Look at the reception section many reviewer mention about Sukumar's screenplay. Success think (talk) 16:56, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Success think, that's what written by means. Tenet is written by Christopher Nolan, not Story-Screenplay by Christopher Nolan. We mention it seperately only when story and screenplay credit is divided per Template:Infobox film. Here, Sukumar has both the credits, so its just "written by." -- Ab207 (talk) 17:42, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Will you contribute Goldmines Telefilms Pvt Ltd. Success think (talk) 18:40, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tags

[edit]

@Ab207: You should do not have to remove tags without solving the mentioned problem. If any source don't say the organisation title who field law suite, then the news do have to be on WP.Success think (talk) 14:01, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Success think, are you serious? No source has mentioned the organization name, so we are not compelled to add it unless its reported. Also in this edit, mentioning that they removed the scene on fans demand is enough. "Small strife has aroused online" part is not even mentioned in the source. -- Ab207 (talk) 16:02, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The source says that you read before. Readers have right to know whole story, if the tag is there someone will reserch & add it. There is know need to remove tags, just u don't found sources for that. Possibly some Telugu physical newspaper had reported the org title. Some organization field a law suit - these type of "some" is known as 'Wisely' words on WP. Success think (talk) 16:13, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ab207: Are you want to hide that thing ? Success think (talk) 16:18, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Success think: Please indent your replies properly. You cannot expect it to be fixed by others everytime. No newspaper has reported the orginazation, even in Telugu. So its futile to tag it. You can restore the tag if you still believe it can be sourced. Thanks -- Ab207 (talk) 16:49, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Budget should vary in the range ₹200—250 crore.

There are many reliable sources which mentioned the budget to be ₹200 crore. Only one source mentioned it as ₹170 crore (Samayam Telugu). 2 sources have published the value ₹250 crore. @Khiladi King (talk) Khiladi King (talk) 12:55, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
