Requested move

[edit]

A350 (disambiguation) → A350 – began as the road prior to 1994, the airplane folks took it over, there is no reason that the road and the airplane cannot coexist, and no consensus that the airplane is more important, and it makes abbreviation expansion more difficult to find. — William Allen Simpson 16:22, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Oppose I believe the airplane would be much more likely to be searched for compared to an A road in the UK. As the airplane article has "A350 redirects here, for the road see" at the very top, anyone searching for the road has one extra click (which they would still have is if it was a disambig page. So, having A350 as a disambig would not be an advantage for the road searches, wheras it would be a disadvantage for those looking for the aircraft. MartinRe 16:37, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • OPPOSE the airplane is the likely target. Who knows A350 road outside of locals? 132.205.45.110 20:36, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I also don't see any path that could result in a user coming across this page at the moment. Currently there are two A350 topics, the main one (airplane) refers to the other (road) at the very top, so both are covered by a "A350" search. I would assume that this page would only become relevent if more A350 related topics were added, and the Airbus article would then be updated to refer to the disambig page as well (or just instead of) the road.
