I deleted the song template because the article is not about a song. Bluewave 20:22, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Various translations by A.L. Loyd are here listed under bibliography. It's tempting, then, to add the word translator to the upper biography portion. However, I could not independently verify now that A.L. Loyd the folksinger and A.L. Loyd the translator are one in the same. 14:41 6 November 2021

Translator?

[edit]

The Bibliography lists A. L. Lloyd as the translator of three books, one from Spanish and two from German. For that reason, I just Wikilinked his name at The Metamorphosis, which is one of the books in question. But it is unusual that a folksinger would also be a translator, and I have found no source that confirms that the folksinger and the translator are the same A. L. Lloyd. Can anyone confirm that? If someone can, then I suggest adding the source as a footnote. Maurice Magnus (talk) 17:24, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
