Name
[edit]What is her name? Any sources except the Hill - its bio not very WP:RS.Obina (talk) 22:00, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- I believe her first name is Alexandra, as is her mother's. I got that off a blog, which doesn't meet RS of course. But do we really need her full name? Professionally she simply goes by A. B. Stoddard. Qworty (talk) 06:51, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I just found this from the NYTimes: [1]. Alexandra Brandon Stoddard. So she is named after both her parents. Qworty (talk) 07:02, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- We are creating her biography. We want all reliably sourced information.Obina (talk) 00:06, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Alexandra Stoddard
[edit]I don't think Alexandra Stoddard should redirect to this page. Alexandra Stoddard is an author, well known interior designer and lifestyle philosopher. She is also the mother of A. B. Stoddard, but she is probably "worthy" of her own article. Ms. Stoddard senior has a Web site at http://www.alexandrastoddard.com/. Her published works (about 18 books) include Living a Beautiful Life: 500 Ways to Add Elegance, Order, Beauty and Joy to Every Day of Your Life, Choosing Happiness: Keys to a Joyful Life, Things I Want My Daughters to Know: A Small Book About the Big Issues in Life, and You Are Your Choices: 50 Ways to Live the Good Life, Happiness For Two: 75 Secrets for Finding More Joy Together, Things Good Mothers Know. I would suggest that it be started as a stub, with a link to her daughter's page. Comments? (I wrote pretty much this same comment on the talk page for the redirect on 12 June 2011. I'll wait at least one more week, but If I don't hear any disagreement, I'll turn that redirect Alexandra Stoddard into an article with a link to A. B. Stoddard, her daughter. - Change made. Will now link this article to the mother's. -CocoaZen (talk) 22:05, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
