Birch is well-known in Tennessee as an opponent of the death penalty and does not vote to confirm death sentences on consititutional grounds. This may not belong in the article (it's common knowledge in Tennessee, but hard to cite verifiable sources, other than to suggest one go to Westlaw and read every case, but is important to know about him IMO. Don't see that—article is more than adequately linked IMO. If this were done by a human I'd be disappointed, as it is I just think that the bot program is not applicable hee for some reason. I am removing the template. If a human editor can make a good case for it, he/she should do so and place reasons here. Rlquall 13:35, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Further review: The article as it stands now has 19 links not counting years or categories. These are all blue links to valid articles. The bot is way off base here.Rlquall 13:39, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
