I have changed some of the content to reflect information drawn from the two references cited. This really only covers the programme's first two years of broadcasting and there is plenty of room for expansion to include later episodes, such as the money-lending controversy. Requested move 25 August 2018

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: moved as proposed. There is a clear consensus on the first one, but the second one can be renominated alone if necessary. (closed by non-admin page mover) Bradv 04:47, 16 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

– Probably could have moved these non-controversially, but better safe the sorry... The article on the Irish TV show is misnamed, as it was a "current affairs" TV show which under WP:NCTV means it is a "TV programme", not a "TV series" (which have "continuing story elements"). Meanwhile, the New Zealand TV show appears to be a panel game show, which means under WP:NCTV it should be disambiguated by "game show", not "TV series". (Full disclosure: These appear to be the only two TV series with this exact title, as per the Seven Days disambiguation page...) --IJBall (contribstalk) 23:23, 25 August 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. • Support per nom. --Gonnym (talk) 08:07, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support the Irish one per nom, but oppose the New Zealand one - that should be at 7 Days (game show) as there aren't any others (we have articles about at least) so the country isn't needed. Thryduulf (talk) 11:48, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It's debatable. There are definitely those in NCTV who think by country disambiguation is "necessary" in the case of the New Zealand game show too (to fully disambiguate from the Irish programme). I consider both viewpoints to have points in their favor... --IJBall (contribstalk) 02:18, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If there is only one game show then there is nothing to disambiguate it from. Strictly speaking the Irish one doesn't need "Irish" in the title either as "TV programme" and "TV series" are different but given that is only a subtle difference that not everybody is going to understand the "(TV programme)" should redirect to "(TV series)" which has hatnotes in place already. The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
