In Sonic the Hedgehog Issue #148 it is stated that Mobius is Earth in the 141st Century AD.
Is there a source for Venus occulting Spica in 3230? When I simulate this in my Stellarium programme, then Venus is quite far away from Spica in cancer; actually Mercury would seem to occult Spica instead on that date. --88.73.58.143 (talk) 19:58, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
The TV show Futurama takes place 1000 years in the future (the majority actually taking place in the 31st century)
Is that going to make sense to those who do not know when Futurama was created (I presume we are trying to write articles that will continue to make sense indefinitely into the future)? Brianjd
It would because if people click on the Futurama link they would see something like "The late 20th century animated series Futurama is considered to be the pinnacle of entertainment on Earth" ^_^ [maestro] 06:08, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Is this vandalisim?
Is this vandalisim? I think I'll remove it.

9/11 anniversary?
"The 1000th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks" Seriously? We couldn't have thought of a better one than that? -unknown user / —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mfrazell (talk • contribs) 25 October 2006
what, are u saying that is important enough? also, is there a specific reaso for the fact that the last actul decade page was 900 years ago abnd yet theres a redirect link to a decade page?--Cody6 23:28, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Redirect?
Is there a reason that the 32nd century link redirects to a Prince Album? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.49.108.252 (talk) 00:55, 9 January 2007 (UTC).
- Somebody got confused by a double redirect. Since fixed. Fayenatic (talk)
Sailor Moon tidbit
This page says that Neo Queen Serenity creates Crystal Tokyo in the 31st century. I could be wrong, but I was sure that she did that in the 30th century. Can anyone with a better memory confirm this and delete/amend as needed? Dazcha 19:39, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- The article Sailor Moon refers only to the 30th century, so I have deleted the entry about it from this article. Fayenatic (talk) 12:25, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Please stop!
Please stop redirecting those years to the 31st century page! Please remove the redirects IMMEDIATELY! Thank you! -- PNiddy Go! 18:30, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Pardon me, but what's the point of this article? It just seems a bit pointless at the moment, seeing as we live in the 21 century, and as morbid as this sounds, few of us, if any, will live to see such the 31st century. Qwerty (talk) 10:38, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Year 3000
Somebody put at the bottom "The Jonas Brothers song "Year 3000"" but as Jonas Brothers only did a cover of the song shouldn’t it say the original band instead (UK band, Busted)? I didn’t want to change it and have a load of people having a go at me because I understand that some people (Americans mostly) wouldn’t know that the song was originally done by Busted, who were more popular in the UK. 90.195.81.141 (talk) 20:06, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- I would list under whoever wrote the song, not who performed the song. That's not likely to be subject to dispute. And it appears to be Busted. I'll fix it. Thanks. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:28, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Also moved to 30th century. Someone isn't paying attention. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:38, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
3333-3-3 at 3:33:33
Just like there will be 2222-22-2 2:22:22 and 2222-22-2 22:22:22 on February 22, 2222, there will be a 3333-3-3 3:33:33 on March 3, 3333 at 3:33:33 that will have all the 3's in the date and time. Joseandricardo, 21:20, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- Disputed. Technically, it's 3333-03-03 03:33:33. — Arthur Rubin | (talk) 05:19, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
It's 03:33:33 03-03-3333 on a Tuesday (March 3, 3333) 02:14, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Futurama
Well, isn't 12/31/2999 the eve of the 31st century? Valley2city 22:29, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- No. The 31st century starts 01/01/3001. — Arthur Rubin | (talk) 18:52, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Planet of the Apes
Actually, either there was shocking continuity involved in the series, or the first movie occurred in a different timeline to the other four in the series. According to the chronometer in the original ANSA FTL spacecraft, it was 3978 CE. However, the subsequent movies contradicted this, and stated that Beneath was set in 3955 CE.

Begin/end dates
Ain't it somehow subject to debate, in the same fashion as showed in the 3rd millennium article? 200.230.213.152 03:26, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- IMHO, 3rd millennium is in error. — Arthur Rubin | (talk) 06:01, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Why are we talking about the 4th millennium? Abit long for us to experience it, lol Phu2734 13:25, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- I know! It's a weird feeling reading all that. Not even my great great great great (etc) grandkids will live to see the 4th Millennium - so isn't it a bit early to be writing about it? (172.141.36.252 18:07, 30 October 2007 (UTC))
Leap Year?
Is 4000 a leap year? I read that years divisible by 4000 aren't leap years. Novjunulo (talk) 16:33, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- You've got that confused - if the year ends in "00", it's a leap year if it's divisible by 400. This is why we had 29 February 2000, but not 29 February 1900 and won't have 29 February 2100. DitzyNizzy (aka Jess) (talk) 20:46, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- No he is correct it is proposed that the current rules are complemented with a rule stating that years divisible by 4000 aren't leap years. This have not been decided jet as there are long time left and some uncertainty in the movement of the earth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.209.155.237 (talk) 00:55, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Will there be?
Will there be robotic skylines by the 4th millennium? --68.103.27.24 (talk) 22:39, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
