My name is Wayne F Wellman Jr. and my father, Wayne F Wellman Sr. was killed in a B-47 over Perrin Mo. April 13 1960 in a B-47. He was attached to the 310th Bomber wing on temporary duty at Forbes AFB. I would like to hear from anyone who knew him. He was killed 6 months before I was born. I would second the suggestion that this be merged into the 310th Space Wing, due to its transferred lineage. These "newer" wing pages don't have enough historical "meat" since people create these separate "historical" pages. According to the Air Force Historical Research Agency, these units are one-and-the-same. TDRSS (talk) 13:28, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
