Article title
[edit]- This article has one actual reference and what looks to be an Air Force "Freedom of Information Act" request. The reference is an Air Force Historical Research Agency (AFRA) fact sheet link that uses the title "2 Air Support Operations Squadron" (USAFE) and mentions the name as such several times. While some "official" designations use simply 2 or 2d, on Wikipedia consistency indicates "2nd Air Support Operations Squadron" would be better as per other articles and even many "official" listings.
- A search returns a couple of examples with 2d and 2nd, but almost everything else on the page (few exceptions) follows 238th, 15th Wing, 1st Air Support, 5th Air Support, 111th Air Support, 274th ASOS TACP, 238th Air Support, 72d Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, 673d Civil Engineer Squadron, 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery, 25th BSB, 25th Air Support Operations, 435th Air Ground Operations Wing, 99th Force Support Squadron, and 14th Air Support Operations Squadron. This clearly indicates that 2nd be used as more common. Otr500 (talk) 20:37, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
