Reverted edits by anonymous editor
[edit]I reverted to edits by an anonymous editor. The editor said in his comments "(Corrected inaccuracies.) " Unfortunately, all material removed was backed up by citations from newspaper articles. Unless and until there are other or better citations proving that the first newspaper articles are inaccurate, the information should stay.--Iloilo Wanderer (talk) 05:08, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
Reverted deletion of cited material. China ASEAN Fund majority owner is Chinese Government
[edit]An anonymous editor deleted cited material with the comment, "Company is not owned by the Chinese government through China-ASEAN Fund as the fund has a number of investors, including the IFC, which my understanding is not owned by the Chinese government." I reverted the changes because (a) cited material should not be deleted without a better citation to disprove it and (b) the International Finance Corporation, a part of the World Bank is only a minority investor in the China ASEAN Fund. The Fund creation was announced by the Chinese government leaders and the Chinese government has a majority stake through various sovereign wealth funds and state-owned banks, such as the China Import-Export Bank, as the cited material here, at the China ASEAN Fund article and the 2GO Group article makes clear. Further the World Bank is owned and controlled by its member governments, including China, which has been gaining influence in the Bank. Lastly, ownership information about the Fund's investment advisors is not publicly available, or at least I have not been able to find it. In short, there is no evidence that there are any of investors in the China AsEAN Fund, owner of 2GO, which is not owned Chinese government, in full or in part. --Iloilo Wanderer (talk) 06:15, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
