Sources, please
[edit]This article has, for some time, had a banner requesting better citations.
I have just reverted (for the second time) a paragraph full of interesting information on a recent deployment which had no source for the information whatsoever.
I don't know that this material is incorrect. How could I? No source was given that I could have used to check it. The second time it was introduced, the editor who added it added the claim that it is information that is easily substantiated. Fine. SUBSTANTIATE IT NEXT TIME. That means adding a cite to a reliable source. That's how Wikipedia is supposed to work. --Yaush (talk) 17:16, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
Wrong 27th
[edit]Antoine Gaujot (Medal of Honor recipient) was with the 27th Infantry, US Volunteers. That's different than the 27th Infantry (Regulars) that we're talking about. I removed the entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.105.30.76 (talk) 18:10, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

Removed Honorable Mention
[edit]I removed that ridiculous Honorable Mention section stuck on the end of Medal of Honors winners. Other than indulging Dave Hackworth fanboys there's no point in tacking Hackworth's name after a list of Wolfhound Medal of Honor winners. He didn't win those two Distinguished Service Crosses or all his Silver Stars while with the Wolfhounds.John Simpson54 (talk) 14:46, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
