What

What? Are you kidding me? Around the World in 80 Days was the second best movie of the year, after The Phantom of the Opera. Jeez, some people have no taste.

Why are you telling us? Wikipedia did not judge these movies. -- Cyrius| 23:54, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Gee, thanks for pointing that out. It's lucky this Web site has people so willing to explain such painfully obvious facts to the clueless. For some reason, my mind saw "Golden Raspberry Awards" and somehow thought, "Wikipedia!" I don't know, maybe I've spent too much time cultivating a friendly sense of humor.

The choice of George W. Bush for 'worst actor' is a curious one. Was this decision made because Bush was acting when he appeared in the movie, and doing a bad job of it? If so, then maybe he's smarter than Moore thinks, and was only 'acting' foolish. But this would destroy the thesis of the movie, which is that Bush is genuinely a fool. Or was it just that the Golden Raspberry judges don't like Bush? If that is the case then why are they giving a Golden Raspberry to Farenheit 911, a movie they must have loved? I think this was a political gesture that sort of belly-flopped.

It's alleged that Bush acts dumber than he really is to appeal to other conservatives and rednecks (which I'm willing to believe). That still doesn't change the fact he's a complete moron. And just because someone dislikes Bush doesn't mean they'd like Moore any better. --66.229.183.101 15:17, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
