Intro
[edit]Why does the intro to this article read like a bad persuasive memo that Hochul doesn't have an obligation to call a special election? I don't think that belongs in the article at all, but certainly not in the intro Hypernormal1 (talk) 16:11, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
- Some brand new editor added it. It’s been removed.
- For what it’s worth, Article 1, Section 2 of the US constitution states “When vacancies happen in the Representation from any State, the Executive Authority thereof shall issue Writs of Election to fill such Vacancies.” Hochul does not have the power to appoint anyone, so that is plain wrong, and unsourced. ~Politicdude (About me, talk, contribs) 16:31, 2 December 2023 (UTC)

- Wikipedia can only use photos that are public-domain or free to use. Currently, as far as we know, no such image of Pilip exists. We can't just use any random photo. BottleOfChocolateMilk (talk) 22:04, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Okay. Thank you! NathanBru (talk) 00:26, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- You might try using her photo from the Nassau County Legislature website. 64.238.129.131 (talk) 21:54, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

Individual Endorsement for Suozzi - Fred Guttenberg
[edit]Title says it all. Guttenberg had given his endorsement to Suozzi in this election on X, or Twitter. I cannot find any other article source formally confirming this, only a social media post, however.
