Pence

Is there any actual indication that Pence would be interested in running in this race besides his obvious connection to the state? Otherwise I’m not sure if he should be on the list of potential candidates MoMoChohan (talk) 19:45, 11 November 2023 (UTC)

No, there isn't. I can't find anything online about a potential Pence run for governor, and his inclusion in this article is unsourced anyway. I've removed him from the page, thank you for the heads up. Scoutguy138 (talk) 20:13, 11 November 2023 (UTC)

Notable Endorsements Question

Why are endorsements by the mayor of Fishers (a top 5 city in Indiana) or the Indiana State Police Alliance and National Troopers Coalition not significant enough to be included? The mayor of Fishers represents as many people as a state rep. 128.210.106.49 (talk) 22:03, 28 March 2024 (UTC)

Please see WP:ENDORSE. Neither of the groups are necessarily notable, and their endorsement is solely sourced to the candidate's website, not a reliable source. As the mayor of Fishers is sourced to an actual newspaper (and even though he has no article, as a mayor of a town of 100k+ people he's probably notable), I've restored it to the article. ser!
