Discussion
[edit]- Merge Agreed, the mayoral elections are also local elections. Reywas92Talk 13:27, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- Merge They're a continuation and a part of the local elections as a whole.--Aréat (talk) 15:20, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- Merge They are part of the local elections and seems pointless to have a separate article. Number 57 20:22, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- Merge per nomination, mayoral elections are part of local council elections. Further per WP:NPOL mayors are not guaranteed to be notable. TarnishedPathtalk 12:20, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
- Additional to my previous statement, as this article is a list WP:NLIST applies and I'm having a hard time seeing the possibility of the mayoral elections being discusses as a set in reliable sources. TarnishedPathtalk 04:46, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- merge to LGA, being mayor holds no significant importance in local government except perhaps in Freo and Perth, even then its a footnote part of those elections. Gnangarra 04:41, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- merge per nom - a no brainer to have separate items JarrahTree 05:19, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: @Steelkamp there's obviously unanimous consensus here for the merge. I don't think this needs a formal close. I'd say go ahead and do the merge. TarnishedPathtalk 07:14, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
