Wrong comment
[edit]I got confused and that comment was meant for another page, but it got too cluttered with all that text. DenSportgladeSkåningen (talk) 06:26, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
Please, correct
[edit]Fourth time that an African team reaches the quarters. You forgot Senegal in 2002. 41.74.130.141 (talk) 22:01, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Argentina v Netherlands cards
[edit]Is it right to show cards in the 120+8 and 120+9 minute when they were issued during the penalty shootout? Wouldn’t this imply it occurred during added time of the second half of extra time? I think it should be the 128 and 129 minute. Anthonylopresti1 (talk) 14:02, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
- That's what the FIFA match report says. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 14:36, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
- No it doesn't. Look at the 'Report' link and check the times in the Overview panel. Anthonylopresti1 (talk) 23:06, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, I see what you mean. I can't say it matters as penalty shootouts aren't timed. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 00:44, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
- If nothing else it just eliminates confusion from being thought of occurring in added time of extra time. Anthonylopresti1 (talk) 00:56, 11 December 2022 (UTC)

Factual error
[edit]Concerning the Morocco vs Portugal match, the article states that Morocco is the "first African, first Arab, and first Muslim-majority country to reach the World Cup semi-finals". Turkey reached the semi-finals in 2002 an is a Muslim-majority country, so the last part of the statement is incorrect. 188.100.62.70 (talk) 12:47, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
