- I think it's to represent vote share in the ward (i.e. Longtown is a darker orange because the Lib Dems got a high percentage of the vote). I must admit, I would prefer simpler colours for the map too. I'm going to have a look at other pages on UK local elections and see which is more common, then update it or leave it depending on the other pages. Geinu (talk) 19:24, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
