Nam-PNG

[edit]

@Lugnuts: There seems to be a match tomorrow between Namibia and PNG according to nvplay and cricclubs. Human (talk) 09:52, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads-up - I'll do some digging for more. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 09:53, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Lugnuts: Is there a winner in this tournament? Because Namibia has already technically "won". Human (talk) 09:34, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No winners as such, just a group of random T20I matches! Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 09:36, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Lugnuts and A Simple Human: This was never a tournament as such, just a collection of standalone matches. Interestingly on the ICC calendar, the UAE-IRE matches are now only listed as T20 (not T20I); but the games not involving Ireland are T20I. Cricinfo still has everything as T20I so let's assume that's just a glitch on the ICC site! Bs1jac (talk) 10:26, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Quite odd, as originally this was just a UAE-IRE series before the rest of the matches were added! Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 10:35, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cricket Archive has all the mactches as T20Is (apart from the two warm-ups). Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 10:36, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And more digging shows that the Oman/SL matches are no longer even T20 matches! Just simply twenty overs or misc on CA. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 10:39, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I noticed on Cricinfo that the Oman-SL games had changed from 'T20I', to 'T20', to 'Other T20'... which to be honest I thought they would be if they were not T20I. i.e. can't remember a time where two national sides played a 'T20' that was neither T20I nor 'other' (since universal T20I status).
