5x expanded by The Rambling Man (talk). Self-nominated at 20:50, 30 May 2021 (UTC).[reply]

  • Expanded enough, long enough, neutral, sourced, and no plagiarism found. Hook is supported by two separate parts of the article, each sourced. Hook seems interesting enough, an own goal within a minute is good fun. QPQ done. I might tweak the lead to for example note which team Johnson played for, but there's nothing holding this back as a DYK. CMD (talk) 15:31, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]
  • "from EFL League One, the third tier of English football," No need to say what tier the League one is at. It is linked for further information and this isn't in the 2020 or 2019 EFL League one playoff finals either.
Well I am often asked by non-football readers to help explain the tiers in English football and their odd nomenclature. I don't see this is doing any harm. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 15:34, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
