Look-over

[edit]

I'm going to look over this page in my sandbox and add some about the original bill, archive and add some sources, etc. Please leave any suggestions here. Thanks! Light&highbeautyforever (talk) 13:09, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I keep meaning to add the vote totals but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. 331dot (talk) 13:16, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Date of the vote" section

[edit]

At the rewrite, I initially removed this section because it seemed a) not particularly notable/based on some hypotheticals, and b) presenting only one side of the campaign. I am going to take a look and make it a bit more neutral since it is back. Light&highbeautyforever (talk) 22:26, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The history of the date of the vote is significant, as it was thought it would affect turnout. 331dot (talk) 23:40, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's definitely an interesting byproduct of the switch to primaries over caucuses. But things like a threatened lawsuit and a proposed bill that died pretty unceremoniously don't seem notable enough to include. And the turnout didn't end up being an issue. But the organizers thought it would be an issue, and in the process described what they saw as the partisan breakdown(that Democrats were more likely to support it and that Republicans might not show up). I think those are important details even if a proposed bill isn't. 331dot (talk) 08:02, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I guess my concern is how wide to cast the net of information--is a concern by one side of an issue, that ends up being unfounded, significant enough to include on the WP page? And if so, what concern of the opposing side can we highlight to balance it? Light&highbeautyforever (talk) 13:37, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
