I think I found the fossil formation of Ambopteryx

[edit]

I was looking up the fossil formations for the little guy, and I found an article that mentioned the Haifanggou Formation.

here it is in case your interested. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-019-1137-z OviraptorFan (talk) 16:47, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The article seems to be only saying that it was found in a stratigraphic equivalent of this formation.
Quote: "Locality and horizon. Near Wubaiding Village, Reshuitang Town, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, China; early Upper Jurassic, stratigraphic equivalent of the Haifanggou Formation, Yanliao Biota"--188.146.225.14 (talk) 05:09, 10 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Aw dangit, is there a reason news articles do not state the formation of the find?... OviraptorFan (talk) 12:21, 10 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
