[edit]Note that I initially found it odd that this wasn't coming up by googling or searching Twitter, and there's nothing on http://www.uefa.com/under21/index.html, or by searching the site. Then I saw the log for this page which shows it was created by a banned editor. The archived sockpuppet casepage shows that user created several other similar pages. Thanks. --CutOffTies (talk) 11:51, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
San Marino?
[edit]Why is not San Marino automatically qualified as host? 2.68.8.59 (talk) 15:59, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
England
[edit]There is a note in the article that England is ineligible for the Olympics. Is that really so? They can't indeed compete in the olympics as England, but I though that if England clinches one of the Olympic berths through this tournament it earns the British Olympic Association (through its football representative, the FA) the right to enter the Great Britain Olympic football team for the 2020 Summer Olympics, if the British FA's come to an agreement that is.Tvx1 17:34, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
- That's the case in the Women's World Cup but not here.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 19:25, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
- According to whom? Looking up in the sources shows that there was a clear desire to enter the men's GB team if applicable as well. FIFA even gave their approval. Doesn't matter though. England didn't clinch a berth.Tvx1 14:22, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
- [1] Page 11, "The finals serve as European qualifying for the 2020 Olympic football tournament, with the top four teams booking places in Japan. In the case of England qualifying for the semi-finals, an Olympics play-off match between the two group runners-up not qualifying for the semi-finals will be played in Cesena on 27 June." Basically, the four GB nations reached an agreement for the women's team to enter Olympics but not for the men's team to enter. Chanheigeorge (talk) 17:16, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
