Original Brexit deadline: needs clarification

[edit]

In my view, the following part of the sentence needs clarification: "...took place just days before "Brexit day" March 29, 2019, the original deadline for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union." This could mislead readers less familiair with the subject of Brexit that the United Kingdom is still to leave on the 29th of March. One could add for example: "which has since been postponed".
