[edit]

The Conference breakdown has inaccurate information. In the second round only one player from the Mountain West Conference was drafted. This says there were two. If you total the number of picks for the second round they add up to 33 but there are obviously only 32.

I would correct it but I'm not allowed to make edits. If anyone who reads this is able to make edits please change the number of players drafted from the Mountain West Conference in the second round from 2 to 1.

This also means the total number of players drafted from the Mountain West is four, not five. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 32.213.100.82 (talk) 13:11, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CRYSTAL

[edit]

Somebody asked on IRC if this page felt like WP:CBALL. I think it's fine as is since it doesn't make any unverifiable speculation. Therefore it doesn't violate any policy as I can see it (although the essay at WP:TOOSOON is worth reading). I've always tried to remember that WP:NOTPAPER. Anyway, comments are welcome from everyone– jfsamper (talkcontribemail) 16:18, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Conditional Trades

[edit]

Why do we put conditional trades in a separate area if the round is known? To me they should be under the round they are until the conditions aren't met at which time they would be deleted. For instance the Kessler trade is a conditional 7th round selection and Jacksonville can't use that in any other trades because it is involved in this trade. Why not display this trade here as Jacksonville's 7th round selection. Dabullzrule (talk) 22:36, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Its vs. their

[edit]

Why is "their" being used here? According to the Chicago Manual of Style, when referring to just the "city" name, it should be singular: "Washington hopes to forget the last two seasons; Miami is likewise hoping for a fresh perspective." It only becomes plural when you include the team name itself (e.g., "The Arizona Cardinals are").

DAB

[edit]

The table (pick #97) links to the wrong Bobby Evans. 107.77.203.220 (talk) 03:25, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And the table also links to the wrong Connor McGovern (Penn State/Cowboys, not Missouri/Broncos). 107.77.203.220 (talk) 03:30, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It should link to Connor McGovern (American football, born 1997). His college also needs to be fixed. I would fix it, but the article is locked. 107.77.203.220 (talk) 03:47, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pick 172 Jordan Miller links to a dab page, and 191 Marcus Epps & 213 Donovan Wilson link to players of that other football.107.77.203.220 (talk) 21:05, 27 April 2019 (UTC) 107.77.203.220 (talk) 22:03, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Trade 48

[edit]

Trade details are incomplete, does not include the fourth-round pick to Saints. Should be as follows.

Saints receive: » 2019 second-round pick (No. 48; select Erik McCoy) » 2019 fourth-round pick (No. 116)

Dolphins receive: » 2019 second-round pick (No. 62; trade to Cardinals) » 2019 sixth-round pick (No. 202) » 2020 second-round pick — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.151.242.172 (talk) 16:28, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 28 April 2019

[edit]

The Chicago-New England trade in the 3rd round also included pick 205 coming back to the Bears. This is not annotated correctly. 2601:240:E300:75E1:E969:4484:8AEA:958D (talk) 01:43, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. DannyS712 (talk) 19:39, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Most picks in draft

[edit]

The most draft picks were by the Vikings...not the Seahawks Holldorf (talk) 04:29, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

San Francisco 4th round trade lists they got the 183rd and 196th picks from Bengals. The table shows S.F. actually got the 198th pick, not 196th. 2601:19A:837F:D8A6:DC8F:406:B46A:BFE8 (talk) 16:54, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Player name change

[edit]

According to Tampa Bay Times reporter Rick Stroud the Buccaneers 2nd round CB Sean Bunting has changed his last name to Murphy-Bunting, since his last name was solely Bunting when he was drafted does it stay the same on page or get changed to reflect it's current state?
