That graph
[edit]Can someone please explain the massive shift in that polling graph that occurs right around 27-06-17? The other graph representing individual parties does not change very much around that point. It also badly needs updating seeing as we're in June now and the graph only stretches to January. - The election of the hardliner Jussi Halla-aho as leader of the Finns Party led several parliamentarians to split away and form their own party, Blue Reform, which stayed within the government, which explains the jump. Also, the graph was removed on the opinion polling article with the justification that the sums represented are largely arbitrary (as the sums of individual parliamentary parties don't necessarily reflect public support for the government itself, which is the implicit implication when such a graph is included). Movement Now Election Result
[edit]Ok, there is obviously a dispute on the result for party Movement Now. I have provided a source a source, [1] of where the final result is given, but it is reverted by the same editor. He is providing a source that does not explain his result at all. Space Monitor (talk) 17:59, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- As for me, I went to the Finland Justice ministry website (https://tulospalvelu.vaalit.fi/EKV-2019/en/lasktila.html) for finding the results. I'm also putting the results onto the french WP page.
- So, having searched these pages many times since the results came out, I found that Movement Now (it will be written as Liike Nyt) has presented lists in these constituencies: Helsinki, Uusimaa, Varsinais-Suomi, Häme, Pirkanmaa, South-East Finland, Savo-Karelia, Central Finland, Oulu and Lapland. Obviously, there's no list in Satakunta, Aland and Vaasa. So, I made the calculus myself; I added all the votes for Liike Nyt in each district, and calculated the % in the whole nation. That's basically what I did.
- The results I added were these:
- Helsinki: 13529 votes, 3,5%
- Uusimaa: 24778 votes, 4,5%
- Varsinais-Suomi: 5322 votes, 1,9%
- Häme: 3312 votes, 1,6%
- Pirkanmaa: 7178 votes, 2,4%
- South-East Finland: 4030 votes, 1,6%
- Savo-Karelia: 3425, 1,5%
- Central Finland: 4269 votes, 2,8%
- Oulu: 1593 votes, 0,6%
- Lapland: 1991 votes, 2,0%
- Check the link, you will find these results. I simply added them up.
- Btw, the official results have been published days ago, so you'll need to update them.

- (e/c) InternauteLambda is correct - looks at the results by constituency and add them up. I will do a complete tally in a few minutes. Number 57 18:28, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- And then, you subtract this total (around 69K) to the "other groups" part (85K I think) on the whole nation results page and the Aland coalition result (around 11K votes), you get a total of around 8K votes. This result goes in "other parties".

User:Number 57, before you say whose right and whose wrong please take a look at this source. [2], are you telling me it’s wrong? Space Monitor (talk) 18:40, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, it's very clearly wrong, as per the details above. It seems they've only used the total for Uusimaa district, not the entire country. Number 57 18:44, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Really? I would like you to please show me, "in my source", where it states that the result shown is only for Uusimaa district. Space Monitor (talk) 18:47, 19 April 2019 (UTC)- It doesn't say that because the source is wrong. If you want to check for yourself, click on this link and then go into each of the thirteen electoral districts and note down the number of votes for the list starting "Liike Nyt" (Movement Now), then add them up. It comes to over 69,000. 0.8% is around 24-25,000, which is the party's total only in the Uusimaa district. Number 57 18:52, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
The source that you provided states the party earned 4.5% in the the Uusimaa district. Take a look [3].Space Monitor (talk) 18:56, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- That's 4.5% of the vote in that electoral district, not overall. And seriously, this is the electoral commission, not some random source. Are you on a wind up or something? Number 57 19:03, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- Anyway, I've collated the results for all districts including breaking out the minor parties/independents from "Other" and updated the table. Number 57 19:07, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- You're engaging with an obvious sockpuppet of Branflakes452701 (talk · contribs), by the way – I can't be bothered to make the SPI report but it's systematically similar to every single report by Impru on the case archive page. Mélencron (talk) 19:46, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
