Brad Ausmus Not Returning
[edit]I have no source for this, but I heard Brad Ausmus will not continue managing the Tigers going into 2018
2018 Postseason
[edit]The Postseason schedule was announced recently and so I've created the article for the 2018 World Series. It's for some reason a draft and I'm not sure how to change that but if anyone wants to help out with this page and the other postseason pages feel free Mcturtle25 (talk) 13:28, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
- Or, you could've just done it on the actual page, albeit under hidden comments. –Piranha249 17:50, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
But there is no actual page for the World Series, just a redirect to this page Mcturtle25 (talk) 18:23, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
- Try this link, and that should allow you to edit it from there. –Piranha249 19:25, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
Thanks! Mcturtle25 (talk) 16:17, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- One more thing @Mcturtle25:, can you help me move your draft over to the mainspace? –Piranha249 00:00, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
I'd love to but I'm not sure how to do that Mcturtle25 (talk) 02:41, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- First of all, build the article up more, at least add one source, then submit it to WikiProject Articles for creation –Piranha249 22:52, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Mcturtle25: I've done everything possible but add sources, and after submitting it twice, I've been declined both times, so can someone add some sources wherever possible?–Piranha249 17:15, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
First female play-by-play announcer in 25 years
[edit]I don't know if this would be noteworthy enough to add to the main article, but it was back in April, that Jenny Cavnar, a pre- and post-game host for the Colorado Rockies' TV network, AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, became the first female to handle play-by-play duties for a regional MLB broadcast since Gayle Gardner in 1993. Umpiring crews
[edit]Suggestion/proposal to relocate the table of 2018 MLB umpiring crews from the Umpire (baseball) page (exact location Umpire (baseball)#Current MLB umpiring crews) to the 2018 Major League Baseball season page. Since umpiring crews are unique to each season, providing that info in the MLB season page will make it readily available for future reference. Thoughts? Regular season ends October 1 due to the Pirates and Marlins makeup game on the MLB Network(out of market only).
- The game will possibly be cancelled if the Pirates are eliminated from play-off contention..--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 14:53, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
