Match summaries
[edit]I have no idea if it's a thing on FIFA articles, but the match summaries here are not neutral. For example, "But just before the break David de Gea made a terrible and uncharacteristic error, fumbling a zipping Ronaldo shot through his gloves and over the line."
This is not neutral. I am not sure if there is a policy/guideline page that indicates match summaries be "unneutral". Callmemirela 🍁 talk 21:06, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
Spain
[edit]As Spain leads Portugal based on the fair play rule for tiebreaker, isn't Spain therefore already guaranteed a spot in the Group of 16 (after both teams have played two games)? I mean, even if Iran beats Portugal and Spain loses to Morocco, Spain is guaranteed a spot in the Group of 16 by finishing in second place (they are currently in first place in their group as I write this)? Thanks in advance. Reverend Edward Brain, D.D. (talk) 05:04, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
- Not necessarily. If Spain lose to Morocco (leaving them on 4 points), and Portugal draw with Iran (Portugal 5 points, Iran 4), Spain's progression would depend on how their record compares with Iran's, not Portugal's. If Iran's is better, Spain are out. – PeeJay 13:21, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
