Is there a "rolling 147 prize"?

[edit]

Can someone confirm that there is a "rolling 147 prize" for this event. I thought it only applied to Ranking events (and qualifiers for them) (http://www.worldsnooker.com/rolling-147-prizes/) Nigej (talk) 12:36, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Highest break

[edit]

Marco Fu made it, but was it 140 (section 5) or 141 (section 1.3 and lead)? Can't be both! Happy days, LindsayHello 19:36, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

141 was the highest break of the tournament. 140 was the highest break to that point, as the 141 was scored in the round after. Quite easy to remove however. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:39, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean, "to that point"? The exact words in the Century breaks section are "A total of 26 century breaks were made during the tournament, with the highest break of 140 being made by Marco Fu" ~ there's no "point" mentioned, that's referring to the entire tournament, which is why i didn't make a change: It is still entirely contradictory. So, i repeat, which was it? Either way, i'm happy to remove/correct, but i don't want to delete the correct number. Happy days, LindsayHello 20:06, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, thought you meant in the prose, where it says that. High break was 141, apologies. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 20:51, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That's it from me on a run-through. I'll put the article on hold while we go over these. Cheers. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 09:53, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dafabet not mentioned in the prose, suggest you add something about them being the primary sponsors.
Added a bit about this. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:29, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm still not convinced that (revision 6) is useful or accessible to our readers.

  • Check the format of "World Snooker" or world snooker in the refs...
I looked through them all, I think this is uniform now. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:29, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Alrighty then Lee, I removed a few of the "just"s which are better suited to tabloid, but otherwise, I'm satisfied, so promoting. Good work. Let's keep applying all these changes to the next ones I review, I think I got the 2019 Austria Open next... The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 16:53, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No worries mate. I think I did quite a few fixes for that one, but going to go through it again one more time in a mo. Thanks for your time, and excellent reviewing once again. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 17:10, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
