What is Going on here?

[edit]

Is it just me or there seems to be a problem with the editing function for the 2016 in sports topic? For example, I want to add info to the tennis section, but the edit icon leads me to the weightlifing section instead. There is no problem with the main article links from here. I had the same problem too as I was trying to downsize this article as it caused my browser to crash numerous times. Donnie Park (talk) 10:54, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Old split tag

[edit]

Pinging Lee Vilenski as resident expert on snooker in case you want to take care of the "2016 in snooker" split article proposed. If not, just ping me back and I'll remove the old tag due to no consensus (unless you want to do so yourself. A. C. Santacruz Talk 12:00, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

yeah, it would be 2016 in cue sports, rather than snooker, (see 2020 in cue sports). These take quite a bit of work, but I'll get to it eventually. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:02, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I removed it. Proper pages besides the one mentioned are 2015–16 snooker season and 2016–17 snooker season. What about moving chess and darts, possibly tennis to a subpage? Pelmeen10 (talk) 23:19, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
