  • Maybe link punt in the lead? Not sure how well that's known outside of football
    • Done.
  • In the selection section, I'd recommend introducing the two teams as the Idaho Vandals and the Colorado St. Rams right off the bat, as the mascots are frequently referred to throughout. And Idaho isn't particularly well-known, even in the United States
    • Noted team nicknames in section headers and in intro paragraph above those.
  • "September 25; the Rams won in Fort Collins with a game-ending field goal, 36–34" - link field goal
    • Done.
  • Their last bowl win came in the 2013 New Mexico Bowl over Washington State, and they have gone 0–2 in bowl games since" - weird tense switch
    • Fixed incorrect present tense.
  • " by virtue of a 26-yard rush from running back Isaiah Saunders, his second of the game." - his second rush, or his second 26-yarder?
    • Neither, his second touchdown; that has been specified.
  • "With 2:42 to play, Nick Stevens threw long pass but was intercepted at the Idaho 20-yard-line by D.J. Hampton" - threw a long pass?
    • Indeed, and I tweaked some wording around there as well.
  • You'll need source(s) for that scoring table. Decent chunks of it are fine courtesy of being supported by the text, but not all is. For instance, the first entry of the table is "Bisi Johnson 52-yard touchdown reception from Nick Stevens, Wyatt Bryan kick good", but the game description just states that it was a 52-yard passing play with the PAT good, so some of the details technically aren't sourced.
    • The ESPN play-by-play source provided gives all of the specific details of the scoring plays and drives under the "scoring plays" section of that page; if there's somewhere else I need to source that I can do so.
      • I'd recommend trying to work it into the header or somewhere, or if that doesn't work to insert it in a line above the header as Source: and formatting the URL there as a web citation
        • Hog Farm, I've done this (though it ends up being the same named reference as the play-by-play since the "scoring plays" tab is not a separate URL). I think this will suffice as far as verifying the scoring summary, however.
          • Yes, that works. Promoting. I had to do a similar thing once with a bio of a MLB player because the mlb.com biography was a tab on the stats page with the same url. Hog Farm Talk 16:28, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "They finished the 2016 season with a 9–4 record, which still stands as Idaho's only winning season under head coach Paul Petrino, who has held the job since 2013" - recommend adding the year this statement is as of (2021)
    • Done.
  • Image licensing is fine
  • Sources look good for GA

Good work, placing on hold. Hog Farm Talk 04:06, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
