Comments prior to the speech
[edit]We know this is going to happen in three months, so why try to avoid it. Cancina5645 (talk) 23:15, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- What sources do you have that the listed topics will be discussed in the speech? As an encyclopedia such claims need to be sourced. WP:CRYSTALBALL seems relevant. 331dot (talk) 23:26, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
An encyclopedia should be practical too, and address the future events. If it is an event that will happen in two months (in January), then I feel the article can stay, and in mid-December, editors will be able to add sources and expand the article. I don't think there is a point to delete it. Cancina5645 (talk) 00:49, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- The point is that there has to be some kind of sources in the article. I see looking at the page history that another editor had turned the page into a redirect, which (if this is not outright deleted) is what should happen. When there are sources for potential content in this article, the redirect can then be removed. 331dot (talk) 00:54, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
Okay, so I have until November 10 to add a source. Cancina5645 (talk) 01:07, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- To be fair I will inform you that you would be within your rights to remove the PROD if you wish, though that would not prevent the commencement of a full AfD discussion. 331dot (talk) 01:09, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
