Rather than continuing the edit war, let's discuss this on the talk page. The relevant paragraphs of Manual of Style are:

Generally, a link should appear only once in an article, but if helpful for readers, a link may be repeated in infoboxes, tables, image captions, footnotes, hatnotes, and at the first occurrence after the lead. Duplicate links in an article can be identified by using a tool that can be found at User:Ucucha/duplinks. However, in glossaries, which are primarily referred to for encyclopedic entries on specific terms rather than read from top to bottom like a regular article, it is usually desirable to repeat links (including to other terms in the glossary) that were not already linked in the same entry (see Template:Glossary link).

Bolding added by me to emphasize the exception which may apply. Whether the entries in the "Regular Season" table match the "if helpful for the reader" exception is a matter of debate. Since the links point to a specific season for the teams in question, I speculate that this may qualify. Please debate it here rather than in the reversion comments. Please note that discussing the points in question here serves not only to potentially find a solution, but to document the agreement when this comes up again in a year or so. Please do not continue with the edit war, that will require filing a report on WP:ANI and getting an administrator involved, probably sanctioning editors. Apologies for the delay, I have been out of the country for the past couple weeks. Although I agree a table may generally be an exception, within the same table or the table right next to it I am not so sure. Why do we need to link the teams more than once, but a stadium only gets linked once? What is the difference the two? I think they should be consistent. - GalatzTalk 16:22, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
