Season report

[edit]

May I ask why there is minute detail of who is driving which car but not even a sentence regarding a description of the seasons races? Are editors unwilling, incapable or something else? --Falcadore (talk) 05:26, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not DNS

[edit]

Zoel Amberg didn't do the qualy at Austria due to a pain on the back, he asks for race but can't take part on the races due medical reasons, as we can read on the official GP2 Series documents: "Following a Medical Report, the driver of Car no. 27 will not take part in the races" Due the same reason, Amberg was not qualyfield for the races at Hungary too, and we can't put the DNS there. We must put the INJ (Injured).

After first race crash, MP Motorsport decided to Withdrawn Van Buuren's car at Monza's race 2, as we can read on the official GP2 Series documents: "Car 16 - Withdrawn"

We do not use injured in the results tables, for the obvious reason that it is not a result. Withdrawn indicates someone who pulls out prior to the event starting, not in-between races. DNS is the correct notation, as neither driver entered started the race - the reasons being entirely irrelevant. QueenCake (talk) 18:09, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But Amberg wasn't qualifyeld for the races, can't be a Did not start, because was a driver that wont take part on the races, I understand that, if he had done the qualy into the 107% time, he was able to start, but he didn't Sentoan (talk) 18:25, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
When it's a DNS, you can watch it as it at official documents: http://i.imgur.com/dCAUel7.jpg Sentoan (talk) 18:30, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
